Cinemas around Crewe

Odeon

Phoenix Leisure Park, Dunwoody Way, Crewe CW1 3AW, UK – 0333 014 4501

Rather small Cinema, mostly clean but hasn't always been perfect. Nice selection of films, but this is limited to the small number of screens. A lot more is available elsewhere, for example in comparison to other branches up the road such as Stoke on Trent. Food an Drink prices are rather high but this is to be expected. Easily accessible to me so happy to continue going. Staff have always been polite and professional when I have been there. Seats could do with an update. Cinema has recently had a Costa Coffee concession installed, so certainly a large choice of refreshments available for the indecisive.

Rather small but very clean. Amazing sound quality, offers 2D and 3D films next to Pizza Hut so always the option of popping down there after watching a great film. Staff a friendly and seats are very comfy!

McDonald's

11 Delamere St, Crewe CW1 2HR, UK – 01270 211306

Strangely a good experience. Full portion of fries & wrap looked like it had been put together, not thrown. Thank you Crewe.

Great food to eat in or out. But service is a little slow.

McDonald's

Macon Way, Crewe CW1 6DR, UK – 01270 586018

Medium sized McDonald's. Staff: Can be on and off with you depending on their mood, but they get the job done. Location: This store is about a 5 - 10 minute walk from the train station, located down at the end of Macon Way. Parking: Medium sized car park can be found next to the store, free of charge. Items Sold: This McDonald's sells your usual McDonald's products. Cheap and Tasty. Facilities: This McDonald's has restrooms for Male, Female and Disabled Persons, a drive thru and iPad's for children (I think) and table service. Purchasing: This store has a counter and self-order machines. Overall review: Very good McDonald's, staff can be helpful at times.

Two breakfast items ordered one was wrong! They were in such a hurry to replace it the egg was undercooked and had shell in it!

Theatres for Crewe

Lyceum Theatre

Heath St, Crewe CW1 2DA, UK – 01270 368242

Went to see the Roy Orbison show. Really enjoyed it. Sad to see it was only half full....but at £23 a ticket...? Perhaps charging £15 would fill the theatre. I would go more often. Saying that. ..it was a great evening. All the staff are brilliant and really welcome you.

Lovely theatre, well laid out and an excellent show. "Our House" The cast had such energy and were excellent. The one big downer on the evening were the bar prices! I've no objection to somewhere making a profit but £4.00 for a normal sized bag of crisps and Minstrels and £19.00 for 2 glasses of wine and two glasses of Pepsi, watered down from a dispenser, is just wrong! At least Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a mask!
