Cinemas around Crewe

Phoenix Leisure Park, Dunwoody Way, Crewe CW1 3AW, UK – 0333 014 4501

Always feel comfortable when visiting Crewe Odeon cinema. Today we attended the Silver Cinema viewing of 'Battle of the Sexes', which screens at 11:00 am. Not only great value but Silver Cinema provides free tea\coffee and biscuits. Staff are always welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.

We are regular customers at this cinema. Nice cozy feel. Staff usually pleasant. Easy to book online. Just got a bit annoyed tonight while watching a film. People on mobile phones during the film!!! The guy to the left of me was having a conversation on his! And the woman in front of me was texting so her screen was fully lit and it was very annoying! Not the cinemas fault but it would be good if a member of staff could look in from time to time and tell people off.

Theatres for Crewe

Lyceum Theatre

Heath St, Crewe CW1 2DA, UK – 01270 368242

Best small theatre in the North West and the jewel in Crewe's Crown. Beautiful interior, holding nearly 700, most with good views. Smaller performance area on the upper level and nicely appointed bar areas with efficient crush bar. Good restaurant. Popular with touring companies and, since being taken over by a West End company a few years ago, is now firmly established on the comedy circuit, attracting top names at reasonable ticket prices.

We went to the lyceum theatre to see Stewart Lee. The theatre is a good venue with all the usual amenities you'd expect from a place such as this, multiple bars, a little restaurant and ample seating for while you're waiting. The facilities are clean and tidy too and (for me at least) smell pleasant too. We were seated in the first row of the circle on the 1st floor and the view to the stage was very good. My only issue is the room you have. As you can see from my picture, leg room is a commodity in short supply and I'm 5'10" I think anyone over 6' would struggle to sit through a whole show and retain blood flow through their legs. I would recommend this place, however, maybe buy tickets for the stalls.
